Solo lessons are the way to go if you want to learn to become a hang
glider pilot.
Lessons start on the flat ground, where you learn how to
set up and balance the glider in the wind.
Your first flights will be
just a few feet above the ground. Learning to fly is a gradual process.
As you progress, you will graduate to higher and higher flights.
Lessons are 3-5 hours long depending on the number of students. Most
people will need 5-6 lessons before they can fly at high altitudes.
You can use shop equipment initially at no extra charge. Lessons are available
almost every day.
All solo lessons are provided by our affiliate company Mission Soaring Center. Please click here for more solo lesson information. (408) 262-1055
